Goal: Enlarge cramped kitchen space
Name: Perelli Residence
Project Complete: July, 2015
Designer: Heather Wojick, Creative Design Solutions
After reviewing several design concepts to enlarge this cramped kitchen (with none falling within their budget), these homeowners decided to bite the bullet and make structural changes to open up their home’s downstairs walls completely. Removing these walls made the kitchen and family rooms feel much larger, without actually adding any additional square footage. The Hopedale team completely reworked the kitchen layout to create an easy-flow workspace, allowing the cook to engage with family and guests.
The homeowners love seeing their personal style played out in the exposed wood beams and T&G ceiling. It’s fabulous enough to make you want to invite your neighbors and your mother-in-law to supper.
