This Myers Park addition remodel ran the full gamut of size and color. Executed in two phases, we first added a primary suite upstairs before returning to complete the downstairs portion of the project. From a light and bright kitchen, a colorful mudroom, a dark and moody bar, and an elegant yet playful powder room, each room in this project showcased different themes and building skills. We added wainscot molding to elevate the entryway into a more formal space, and the dining room got a facelift with wallpaper, wainscot, and lighting that made it feel almost enchanted. The kitchen quickly became a fan-favorite with its custom inset cabinetry, tongue and groove shiplap ceiling, and paneled appliances.
Our goal in serving Charlotte, North Carolina, is to build additions that complement your lifestyle while aligning with the existing spaces. One of our favorite aspects of remodeling is pairing practicality with beauty. Check out the powder room's marble console sink with unlacquered brass legs and a wall-mounted faucet. And that wallpaper—it takes our breath away. We also worked with a plaster specialist to apply a plaster coat finish on the walls and custom hood in the kitchen.
Our clients had worked with us previously and were familiar with the caliber of our work and our additions services. They wanted to make their home larger and give it a mature, sophisticated feel while keeping their original style and integrity. We built a carport addition for a practical edge and ensured it matched the home's elegance—down to the columns on either side of the porte-cochère.
Our process allowed us to keep communication lines open with our clients during every project step, ensuring their new spaces were perfectly aligned with their goals.
