Myers Park Garage & Porch Remodel
When the homeowners decided to replace their dilapidated garage with a new garage/coach house, they wisely called on Hopedale to carry out the renovation. As the renovation began, the homeowners were no longer content with their existing home and chose to transform their uninviting covered porch, kitchen and breakfast room into a fabulous new space.
The beautiful new, brick two-story garage/coach house was built in place of the existing one and features a large parking area with ample storage space on the lower-level and a guest suite upstairs that boasts a kitchenette, sitting area, bedroom, and bathroom.
The lifeless back porch was transformed into a festive gathering spot for anyone wanting to catch the game on a big screen, toss a pizza into the wood-burning pizza oven, or simply to cuddle up by the fire. The higher ceiling and wider footprint maximized the outdoor living space while a special effort was made to protect the massive oak tree growing right next to the existing porch.
The fun didn't stop there! Inside the house, the kitchen received a facelift including the addition of a large marble island, six-burner cooktop, double wall-oven, cabinet-front refrigerator, and new custom cabinets. A built-in office with a retractable wall allows the homeowners the choice to hide or expose the work area.
The end result for this family is a remarkable garage featuring a modern guest suite, a multi-functional covered porch and a spectacular renovated living space inside their home, all working together in blissful renovated harmony.
